Absurd Morning Chit Chat

So i was in the mini market right in my dormitory lobby, I was going to print my hand out for today lessons.
so there i was sitting in front of the computer opening my file etc etc. Then someone caught my eyes. There's a Chinese student i've met before in Etude.

He's tall and had a blonde cup shaped hair. Yes, he's a BOY. His voice is incredibly loud and his appearance is quite eye catchy.
But one thing i realized as soon as i catch his eyes. He had done plastic surgery. I am really sure he had double eyelid surgery. And his eyes are still in a after surgery state, still had red marks and it somehow bloates.

and anyway i met him again. And i over heard this absurd convo between him and the mini market copy machine ahjumma

ahjumma :
"오! 오늘 모자 안 쓰고 다니는구나..이거 니꺼 맞니?"
"Today you didn't wear your hat? is this yours?"

that Chinese boy :
"네..맞아요! 참깐 하나도 할게요!"
"Yes it's mine! Wait i have another one coming!"

ahjumma :
"오! 너.. 그거했어??"
"Oh.. Did you did that?"

that Chinese boy :
"네?"
"yes?"

ahjumma :
"아이고 왜 계속해!"
"Aigo.. Why did you did that again!"

at this point i still think they talked about the ptask that Chinese boy print. I thought the ahjumma was telling the boy printing too much lately.. Until i overheard the next convo...

that Chinese boy :
"아니예요 전 안 했어요.."
"No.. I didn't do that again.."

ahjumma :
"안해도 괜찮다!! 그래도 예뻐!!!"
"You don't have to do that!! You're pretty [yes the ahjumma said pretty instead of handsome] even without that!!"

that Chinese boy :
"네... 저 계속 안 할게요..."
"Yes.. I won't.."

ahjumma :
"넌 여기서 하면은 더 비싸지 않겠어?"
"Aren't it's more expensive to do that here?"

that Chinese boy :
"아... 아니예요...."
"No.. Not really..."

wth? does every ahjumma or every citizen in this country had the ability to differ natural face and reconstruct face? Even his face is really look normal than the time i met him. Wow.

The Day I Lost 1/8 of my ALLOWANCE for this MONTH

YES, they have STOLE my money.

And who are they? K-pop albums. YES. THEY STOLE my money. ROBBER!! :(

I bought total of 3 CD, Super Junior A-CHA, JYJ In Heaven (blue), and B1A4 second mini album. Enough for robbing me already.

Why B1A4?

In one time I had to pay for K-pop albums I've been asking my friend to buy it for me.
It's been a long time since I had bought my last K-pop album. The last was B1A4, their first single, just because i could get in to the FANSIGN (in Busan)!!

PROVES! to: FILIA. lol.

and yes i did that.
I met all of them before I was even knew their song. But anyway meeting them made me liked them.
Be jealous guys, because i didn't even knew their name.
anywaysss so yeah, all for the best!

First, Super Junior's A-CHA. I bought it just because i could get a lottery to attend the fansign. But I was unlucky. AND IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE.

only this small. cost so much. I hate you SME

Only 75 people per group (there are 2 groups, first is Lee Teuk, Kyu Hyun, Shin Dong, Ye Sung, second group is Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, Ryeo Wook, and Sung Min? It i were correct. I forgot). AND in the third / fourth day of the purchase day, there are a friggin 1.000 people already signed up for the fansign.

... And why I still hoping to get the fansign again?? Bought the CD for ₩ 15.000. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER.

140th person in the first day. But 2.000++ people joined. wth?

But i forgave them just because their member photos are interesting.
doesn't mean i like the song. I mean like, really Super Junior? A-CHA? :/

The Men in Black (and Shin Dong in photoshop better body!)

 nice bodeeeeeeeeh. or is it....?

love how they look like their all in the same height as Si Won!

Next is JYJ In Heaven!

Is this really blue? or gray? :/

nice back cover design!!

thick photo book and a CD with sky as it's picture. I didn't regret it at all

I bought the CD totally by accident. I never want to bought that stuff. Even though I heard it was limited edition, I still didn't want it.

But my friend, miscalculated and bought one surplus! So i bargained it and got ₩ 1.000 discount. Yeah it's good enuf..

I wish they use this picture for the poster instead :(

NEXT!
BILLASA!! THE CONQUERER OF KITTIES AND GALLSSSS. lol
B1A4 second mini album, pray for me so i could get the second fansign!!! <3

apparently most of Busan residents buying B1A4 album will get Baro's picure card. 'B'usan and 'B'aro? :/

One thing, apparently Busan is quite small for my friend said she knew Sandeul because they live in the same neighborhood! Hem. And how she could knew i liked them? I never talked to her anyway, neither i knew her name. HEM. suspicious :/ lol

Overall, I was disappointed by Super Junior's A-CHA but rather pleased by the other album (thick photo book and good songs) :) I might going to do K-pop album diet for the next semester. or the next, next, next semester. I want to stop buying albums :( please help me :(

lastly! my nail!! LOVE IT!!

AND DOKKOJIN EFFECT!

watch the greatest love and you'll understand. I'm especially weak to commercial.

When a bitter truth being told to the world beautifully - movie called 'Dogani'

Recently in South Korea, if you often search through, say like Naver, or something Korean, you would notice in the news column there are A LOT of articles made from a recent Gong Yoo movie, 'DOGANI'. Frankly said this is my first time watching a Korean movie directly from the theatre. No subtitle. JUST MOVIE WITH FULL KOREAN. which i am so lack of it.

도가니 포스터!

But anyway i took the bet and watch it anyway. Because it was a big thing in Korea and everyone had recommended the film. Not purely because of the main actor, no. And you know what, we take the earliest show because it was cheaper then the later show.

... Means i got up really early (8 am) (and it's holiday guise, you know that was the hardest thing to do after you surf the internet and slept at 3 am), i didn't took any shower, i brush my teeth, and i go to the cinema. YES THAT IS happening.

I woke up pretty late actually so my friends left me and bought the ticket first. The thing is they also bough McD breakfast without actually having a heart to offer me some. So i actually sat in the cinema, half awake, attacked by hunger, and hearing Korean speaking alien-ish.

But anyway,
The movie IS GREAT. Luckily there are a lot of scene in hand sign language, so they put Korean subtitle. That is enough time for me to peek on a dictionary whenever an unidentified word shows up.

OK to wrap up the film,

Where it all happens

Dogani (도가니), or 'The Crucible' in English, is a movie based on a true story happened in 2000-2005. This movie itself is a adaption from a book based on the fact with the same title, Dogani, by Gong Ji Young written in 2009.

The main cast is Gong Yoo (Coffee Prince) acted as Kang In-Ho, an art teacher sent from Seoul to teach in a school for impaired students in Mujin. And in his teaching period he witnesses abusive treatment from the teachers. Not only physical, but also sexual abuse and it keeps on going for 5 years with no witnesses. Decided to help the student, he use every force he can to help the traumatic students and promised to punished those pedophiliac insane monsters.

Kang In-Ho uses hand language to communicate with the student

Every Korean drama lovers must be familiar with Gong Yoo, as he is the main character in 2007 MBC drama together with Yoo Eun Hye, Coffee Prince (which i still watching it right now, don't blame me if I'm still a Gong Yoo maniac). And as an audience, i was pretty surprised how Gong Yoo could perfectly threw his comical-romantic character in this movie. Even though I'm watching Coffee Prince right now, i could see this man as a completely different person. His acting is also a crucial thing that make this movie stole the public spot light. But not only Gong Yoo, but the children actors are all AMAZING. Just how they could act like that????? I'm truly amazed by their awesome acts.

The main actors and the original writer :)

However, the ending of both movie and the reality is a bitter ending. The criminals didn't punished as they equally deserved. But rather too much lightly punished. And this is the controversies, even until now people are still fighting to protect these children right and start making online petition. One petition in Daum already exceed 400.000 signs.

Even though this movie based on a true story, both the book and movie didn't mention the real location, instead they made up a district name, in this case, it's called Mujin. This story actually really happening in a school in Gwangju, a district pretty much close to Seoul. And luckily i did heard what my professor been teaching, apparently in South Korea, telling a news with real name (person / companies / district names / etc) could make the victim sue you. And even though all the reader knew who is it, and they could search it easily on the internet, still using a real name is somewhat forbidden. Hem. New knowledge huh?

To concludes all the blabbers, the point is, THIS MOVIE IS A MUST WATCH. And also this movie is being screened at BIFF (Busan International Film Festival). I really hope this film got big, and make people realized how child abuse, primarily to disabled people, is really not a humane act.

But we might have to wait for the English subtitle to really understand what really happening. Because i totally lost my soul when the court scene started. Don't understand every single words being told, really. Still it's a worth watching film!

Cafe 101 - #3 Painted Chair!

P A I N T E D   C H A I R !

.. AND another post about my cafe freak-ness in Busan, South Korea!

The gallery cafe, Painted chair is one of my favorite, and this post will tell you why! ;)

Ok here's the reason,

FIRST the owner speaks English fluently!! And of course if you have been to Korea, this is somewhat a rare found. Her name is Cindy, she spends her childhood somewhere outside Korea (explained everything). Not only famous in Kyungsung and Pukyong Uni students, this cafe seems to be famous around foreigner because ONE they had English speaking owner and menu, TWO they often hold foreigner's party or art exhibition including wine tasting party! well the point is her ability to speak English is enough for reasons to come back again :) eventhough she never gave services or anything to us :(

cute spoons also is the reason! :D

SECOND their coffee and food is delicious. LIKE VERY DELICIOUS. One thing that i could never forget, their brownies tastes heavenly and i'm pretty sure they stole the recipe from the gods ;) It's like a combination between brownies and chocolate fondant!!! crispy outside but 'menye' inside. But it's still tasted lyk a brownies. Remembering the taste just make me teary-eyed. They just have raised the price, so the brownies just become a lot smaller.

the heavenly brownies :')

after the abuse. ₩ 6.500 gone in a minute.

One more thing, instead of sugar, they put vanilla ice cream in my vanilla latte. Which accompany the sweetness of the brownies PERFECTLY.

must order vanilla latte with ice cream!

Not forgetting their awesome oh so expensive delicious waffles!!! :9

self service green tea latte!

THIRD reason, their location is pretty much near my dormitory. When i just want to chill out especially in school day, painted chair is my ultimate choice. And that handsome shop manager downstair.
Painted chair actually had 2 stories, the first story with balcony, and the second with the gallery nuance. On working days usually it's easy to take the balcony spot, but in the weekend the balcony spot would be full with smoking people. So when i took the photos i was in the second floor.

wondered who draw these stuff. awesome!!

FOURTH reason, instead of sticking post-it like crazy or scribbling on the wall, they have set up some 'chair's for you to put your messages!!! I was so fitted in their name it self, and instead of making everything dirtier, it was somewhat become a unique decoration

feel free to make your own chair!

Amongst of all cafe in Busan, Painted chair might be the 'artsy'-est cafe you could ever found. Even though in my opinion their price is too pricey for college students (and they just raised some of their price o_o ) But their concept to order and pay in the same time is great! so i could leave the cafe without have to count how much i should pay etc etc. So it was nice and I definitely recommend this to everyone coming! :)

still a lot to go! :)

And under painted chair they're some clothing store that is great too! I shopped there once and the shirt i bought had become my favorite one!

PS. after a loooooooong time hiatus of my k-pop freakness it's officially come back because i bought Super Junior A-CHA repackaged album!!! :D wait for it!
