I wasn't going to review this product because I couldn't find it on the etude website anymore, but I guess usually global EH stores launch their collection later than in Korea, I guess I'll just review these quickly!

The collection came in 3 shade selection, Cherry Truffle, Salted Caramel and Cocoa Fudge - the names are just too yummy. Honestly, I can't miss these after looking at the packaging, it's vintage and cute in the same time!

This product match 2 eyeshadow colors that compliment to each other - and Cherry Truffle is great for daily look. Around the time this was launched, it was near spring and pink eyeshadows are everywhere - i think pink eyeshadow is a more fun alternative to boring neutral colors like brown and taupe. And since I got 2 in 1 pack - no more hesitation, to the cashier I go!

I thought it will be another cardboard-paper-packaging like EH used to do before - I remember they did, I forgot the name though, a chocolate like collection and most of the products are packaged in cardboard boxes. BUT this time, it has another plastic case - which is super nice! It's great for travel and I won't have to think what shadows to combine with each other since - they already have each other.

For the pigmentation - I'm quite disappointed with the pink one, since it's hard to build on and it got kinda blotchy at some point. While the chocolate color works well - it's such a shame tho because I think 100% of people that purchased this duo will be expecting the pink to work well.

Here's the look that I made from this duo - even though it takes time to work with the pink, I'm in love with the result! (and made me look for other pink palettes. sigh) And I put a little bit of pink at my eyebrow's inner corner just to tie the look all together. Plus, you can use the pink as a blusher if you want too! It definitely will completed the look!

Overall, as much as I love the shade, I don't really like the application. It's hard to build on, chalky and blotchy - and the worst part? It happens only to the pink half of the duo set. I'm pretty much torn in between liking it or meh about this product. But the shade is just too pretty to miss - I mean, it's not often to pass out a warm pink shade - in a palette or in a single piece.

So, that's it for my review today! I'll see you soon! xx

REVIEW : The Saem's Cover Perfection Tip Concealer

Hi!

Today I'm going to review a concealer that recently is a hot issue in Korea~! The Saem's Cover Perfection Tip Concealer! Yey!

       BRAND
The Saem

      PRODUCT NAME

        type of product

        shade
1.5 Natural Beige

      PRICE

Ever since I heard about this product shared by a bunch of Korean Youtubers, I went ahead and get me one! It's small and isn't pricey at all, so I guess it's not a bad purchase and here it is!

Nothing. Special. It's small. It's a concealer :) No box tho

The product it's supeeeeer great. I'm not even kidding, I can see why beauty bloggers are raving about this tiny product. For a liquid concealer, it has a thick consistency, but it didn't clump or hard to blend at all,

For the coverage, it did a very great job. The shade for me it's a tad lighter than my skin tone, but for a concealer it's a perfect shade match for me!

(sorry for the bald eyebrow)

For a 5.000 won concealer, this probably exceed everyone's expectations - I don't have any problems with it and it's the best 5.000 won I've ever spent! I think this is a rumor, but I heard, really I heard, that the CEO him/herself created this concealer. Gosh. No wonder it's sooo good!

This concealer is just sooo good, that I don't even know what to write in the review. OOH, and it has SPF 28! Soooo any questions? If there's something I miss please comment below! :D

GAAH I just love this concealer so much! :D

REVIEW : Banila Co. It Moist Seoul Tint in Lacquer #5 Hangang Sunset + hiatus excuses

KYAA I'm so sorry for the super slow update. GRAWR. I'm totally mad at myself because I can't bring myself to sit down and write - writing is definitely not something I'm excel at (or like it) but well, we've gone this far and it's not funny if I just quit and stop writing, right?

Not to make up excuses or anything, but the weeks before today is one of my busiest week ever - to cut it short I'm attending a makeup school at Puspita Martha in Jakarta. It didn't actually take more than 6 hours per day but the transport time I have to go through is about 4 hours per day (Tangerang - Jakarta, traffic jam bla-bla-bla) and whenever I'm home I'm pretty much worn out from the trip. I didn't have time to even watch my favorite tv shows!

Anyway, now I'm back (hopefully) and I do, really, really, want to make this blog active again. I'm so blessed that eventhough I didn't update for atleast 2 weeks++ there's still 2000+ daily views and I'm forever thankful.

On a side note, I'm opening up a facebook page --> CLICK HERE
I'll be updating blog posts and also random stuffs, because I found out I'm on facebook more than on instagram or other social media. Believe me, I'm not someone that is good with social media, I'm someone that is very, very lazy to update, but I want to make an effort, really!

Now, to the real review!

The packaging is simple, yet memorable. I mean with that huge "SEOUL" written there you would at least remember, "oh, that seoul tint!" - I think that's a very good idea for the design.

This tint is released not long after Banila Co. changed their main celebrity from Jessica SNSD to Song Jihyo - A very, very smooth moves, considering Song Jihyo's popularity is not to be underestimated!

I think the most famous shade from this tint line is "Jihyo Pink" - but since I'm not that into baby pink (at the time I was choosing a product) so I went with my signature fuchsia pink shade which is #5 Hangang Sunset

Aside from all the cute packaging and concept - if you are going to Seoul and you're thinking about getting your friends a great gift from your trip, I will totally recommend you to pick this stuff! Because 1. Nobody hates a lip tint and 2. It has "Seoul" written on it, so souvenir alike much?

Nothing special about the applicator, it does a little bit longer and thinner at the tip so it's easier for a detailed application. Especially if you're going to make a Korean style gradient look, it will easier to make with thin applicator.

On the swatch, it looks like it has a shine over it, but actually it wasn't dried yet so it looked that way - after it's completely dried it has a matte finish. and it felt velvety on the lips! Personally even though it is matte, it doesn't dry out my lips.

The lasting power is the champion - it last for hours! Even after a heavy meal, most of the product is still intact. It was probably supported by its strong pigmentation. The color came out very vividly and applies very evenly.

This product is great for those who want a vivid lips look - the applicator is easy to control, the pigmentation and lasting power is unbeatable. It reminds me a lot to my favorite Innisfree's Vivid Tint Rouge but in a matte finish~

Overall, I love this! It's a very strong color so I like to use it as an accent color by keeping my eye look clean, soft blush and BAM strong lips!

I'm thankful for IBuyBeauti for giving me a chance to try this awesome product from Banila Co. Honestly I thought that this tint will be another mediocre product but it turns out to be a very great one! Well played Banila Co.!
